I'm looking for a neew clutch shoe for my 3.3... what r u all using? I've gone through 2 stock clutch shoes in the last 2 weeks and would like something that will be able to hold up.. thanks in advance everyone!

for the clutch bell. i havent had any problems with the slipper clutch

Several people here swear by the integy three shoe clutch setup. One of the only good products the make. It's supposed to have a lot of grab to it.

MIP makes a nice race clutch with the two different points to set engagement or you can go with the Integy 3 shoe setup like everyone is saying it $16 from Tower Hobbies

Just put the integy 3 piece on my .21TM today. I destroyed two stock clutches within a few tanks a fuel(actually, the spring stretched on one, and broke on the other...). So far, two tanks on the integy and no issues. Seemed to work better than stock, also.

I'm running the Mip clutch and its doin great. I had used to notice black residue coming from my cb (stock clutch burning, or shredding?). After switching to the Mip, nothing. I've ran almost 2 gallons through it and it runs like the day I installed it.

i thinking about running 1 shoe aluminum and one shoe stock(composite)... has anyone tried this?

Keep us posted on that.

It will be out of balance and wreck your bearings as well as cause a LOT of vibration.

MIP makes a good clutch shoe, or I hear nothing but good things about the new Integy 3shoe clutch

The Integy 3 shoe is decent....MIP is good as stated above. I also had prettygood luck with the Hot Racing three shoe clutch I had on my Picco .26Maxx.

I installed a stock 2 shoe on my 3.3 a couple weeks ago and haven't had any problems with mine I've made a custom spacer inbetween mine to give it more jump of the line and man does it jump considering how much it weigh's

I've got alot of micro mini tractor pulling buddys. they have remote control trucks to and all the run is aluminum 2 shoe bell clucthes they say they grab better because with the 2 shoe you have more surface to surface contact than the 3 shoes. but they have the same spring the stock shoes have. and with mine thats what always fails.

great assembly rc makes a nice 3 shoe clutch. i am using it in my OS .18cvrx powered maxx and it grabs nicely. no issues with it either.

"custom spacer"???? Do tell, or show? you have piqued my curiousity.:)

Haha . I took the inner casing off a bearing i had lying around . That fitted perfect on the crank . And pushed it to the back off the flywheel so the stock shoes sit about 1 mil bigger then just make sure your inner bearing on your clutch bell sits tight against it so it doesn't spin out . Works really good . Loads of snap . Just be sure to loosen your spur or bye bye spur gear lol .
