Hey guys TIA,

I wanted to know if anyone else had a problem with their GT eating up clutch bell bearings like candy. I went through two sets today alone and I wanted to know if you guys had any solution for this problem. I have been using the teflon flanged bearings @ $15 a set and I have gone through four sets thus far. Any help in regards to this matter would be appreciated. Also if anyone knows where I can get a set of Boca cermaic bearings for a good price let me know as I have heard this may be a good upgrade. In any event, thank you for your time in regards to this matter.

This could be a few things, first thing that comes to mind is tightness. Is the end screw set to tight to where it is actually compressing the bearings? What brand bearings have you been using? Acer hada problem with their first set of ceramic nitride but they replaced mine free of cost with the new set which is performing flawlessly.

When you put new ones in does the clutch bell spin freely?

Yes, when I put in the new bearings the clutch bell spins freely. I looked for play between the clutch bell and bearings and found none. But to eliminate that part of the problem I got a new clutch bell when I switched over to the Steel Spur and hardened clutch bell. I again checked for play and found none and the clutch bell still spins freely. In any event, I have been using the Teflon bearings which are just a tad above the POS AE bearings. I know the Teflon are relatively cheap compared to the cermaic bearings but I did not feel like forking over the cash for the ceramic but at the time I did not know I would have gone through four sets @ 15 a pop. I could have almost paid for the ceramics at this point.

Where can I get a set of the bearings you mention above.
