I just bought a new traxas X01. It is making a weird clicking noise when I accelerate. Like a baseball card in a bicycle spoke. Don't know what's going on. Can someone please help?

can you make a video with the sound? that would help narrow things down, also wheres the sound coming from?
it could be gear mesh, missing tooth, outshaft bent, ( last one was my most RECENT clicking sound lol)
wheres the click coming from? motor? wheel? trans?axles? i usually make a video of my issue, its had a 10000% sucess rate that way.

Yup we need more info, video would be great. There are so many moving parts it could be anywhere and it's going to take some investigation.
If you turn the wheels by hand do you hear the noise?

Have you checked the gear mesh between pinion and spur?

I always start by tipping my truck over and shaking it to see if I have rocks in it etc.
Visual insection of the driveshafts and dogbones/universals would be my next thought... Maybe a vid will help.

Recently, I’ve been getting pine needles stuck in my wheels and it sounds like a clicking. So I avoid that part of the yard now.
