I'm guessing painting on a clear body is easier, but do you guys also paint over the stock bodies? How's that work, sand and paint, prime and paint or just slap on some color?

well if you paint the stock body, you have to paint the out side obviously. I painted mine flat black wich is the only paint I've been able to make stay on without chipping super fast from being on the outside.

hahahahaha too funny. With my first rc truck (tmaxx) I received a new painted body which I painted red and then let it dry. I took it tot the park and a little kid was checking it out and said" hey mister you might want to paint your body again. I asked him why and he peeled off the outside poly to reveal that the body was still clear and that I had painted the outside of the clear plastic protecting film. hahahahaha. true story and I felt like a boner 4 sure :D
