 What is the best way to clean my nitro truck, after running it all day. Any Info will help thanks.

the most common way to clean your nitro rc is with Denatured Alchohol. This cane be purchased at any hardware store, such as Lowes or Home depot for about 9.00 a gallon. Works great, and is the main ingredient in all the nitro spray cleaners sold at your LHS. If you live near a racetrack for 1/1 size cars, or know of a race car shop, u can also use methanol race fuel. this is only about 5.00 a gallon, and is basically the same thing.

is there a trick to cleaning around the engine and transmission can't reach with rag

put the denatured alchohol in a spray bottle, and shoot that area. it will dissolve immediately. no need to take anything apart.

supermaxx, nitrowash is the same thing as denatured alchohol, only its 6.00 a can, which is 16oz. if u add it up, thats over 48.00 a gallon, far more money than the 9.00 at the hardware store

O!!!!! dang i am ripping myself off, i have always gone to the lhs and got me some nitro wash. i will do the denatured alchohol next time. thankz nitroaddict

no prob, that will be 4 dollars for the tip, lol.

check out the thread here about the rechargable aerosol can, u can fill it with the DA, and it will shoot out at the same speed as the nitro wash

i will write and IOU, lol i will look at that thread and see what i can come up with.

If you get the rechargeable aerosol can just rememmebr to only fill it about 1/3 with denatured and pump it up to about 60psi+to get a good spray. Someone here pumps theres up to 90psi but I'm a little reluctant to try that much pressure....

The pressure release valve blows off at 90 hehehehe

But its so much fun!

HumboldtBlazer turned me on to an awesome trick. Invest in a SIMPLE 5$ crest spin brush. The cheap ones. That, combined with an assortment of cheap brushes found at your local 5 and 10 will work just fine! I also use a plain jane spray bottle. Bottome line, denatured alcohol.

Having a compressor is also handy after using the Denatured alcohol. I am also agreeing with everyone else. Getting the Denatured alcohol is worth every penny you spend. Just becarfule when cleaning around the CARB' s throat as you can easily spray dirt into the engine if you take the air filter out. It still is fun to clean off the dirt after a great run!!!

I don't clean my r/c's. I like them to look like they've been used. Besides, it's like working on a 1:1 car, when you're working on it, you ain't doing it right unless your hands are filthy.
