What are everyone's holiday plans for this year?

I'm going to visit my mom and watch my 1 year old niece open her presents. It ought to be really entertaining.

Like always I will wake up around 5 and start the ham at my house then go over to my parents around 8-9, check in here, then prolly open gifts with my parents. Wait till around noon to see if my brother and one sister show up, which I'm sure they arent this year, then we'll eat around 12:30 or so.
Last year I took my dad in my Teryx for a couple hours messin around, if its fairly nice, prolly do it again this year too...I'm hooked on online mw2 and Reflex now so I'll prolly be doing alot of that also.

Spend the day at the wife's parents house. For the first time in a loong time I'm not driving 5 hours late Christmas Eve. Spend the day watching the kids have fun with all their new gear. Take lots of photos and video too :)

i'm nerding off and going to vegas for a huge chess tournament, and then from there we are going to my girlfriend's parents' house in Utah. i cannot wait!

OH, and i'm taking the crawler. :D

Working 0600 - 1800. WooHoo

BOO! That sucks Alpine.

My Christmas celebrations have already started. I went to GA this past weekend and finished almost all of my shopping, and took my nieces and nephew to breakfast with Santa on Saturday, then did my gifts with them on Sunday morning.

Come the weekend of the 24th and 25th, I will do Christmas three times actually. Once with my biological father, once with my stepfather and his family, and with my Mom and her family. My Mom always cooks a huge Christmas dinner, as does my Grandmother, so we'll be eating well. I'm also hoping the weather is decent, and I have the free time to get in some play with the RC's too.

Staying home this year. My parents moved about 150 miles from our home town 6 years ago, and I currently reside with them(past mistakes, long story). So it will be another normal day. My step dad will cook up his usual breakfast that could feed 10 people, we'll do the gift exchanging and I'll hang out on here. See if anybody needs help with their new toys.:)

Christmas kicks off the start of this hobby for alot of newbs and this place will be flowing pretty good.

I figure some folks will be getting their first hobby grade rc's. I'll leave the site up and check in periodically. Don't wanna sit in here all day; gotta get some classic Christmas shows in with the folks too.:) But I like posts from people that are excited about their new toys. Helping them get off to a good start and sharing the excitement is a good time.:)

Man I worked retail for quite a while. No offense, but I do not miss it. In fact, I don’t miss any job hahaha. :D

I know what you mean about the excited newbs Matt. They are a lot of fun. Now and again on the Jeep site I’m on we’ll get some kid who wants to lift his junk and it’s a blast seeing how stoked they get at every step. That kid used to be me. :D now that my Jeep is built to the hilt, I’m kinda bored of it hahaha. Plus, I like V8s. six cylinders are for women.

Thursday night the wife and I will probably be doing our Christmas together and then we'll be driving north on the Friday before Christmas to my parents house in Indiana until Sunday afternoon when we'll drive back.

Being on a "need to know" basis I will probably be told what I am doing on Christmas day.

Lets see...I hope to leave Kyrgyzstan on the 22nd. Make my way across to Turkey and Germany. Hope for a ride across the pond to the states. Figure I will get stranded somewhere on the way across the states so I am guessing I will be spending Christmas in an airport somewhere. I hope to get across the bigger pond (Pacific) and to Japan maybe by the 26-27. I should be home for New Years and be able to sleep with out the sounds of A-10s blowing stuff all night and rocket attack sirens. Silent night sounds like a hell of a plan! I heard the weather is getting kinda rough in the states so all of you driving be careful....ice is some bad stuff.

Yeah I plan on that I have the laptop with me everywhere. Love these things...lol. I was hoping to make it home by Christmas but oh well all good. At least I will be on my way ya know. So I will be happy for that!
