RC Driving Style
My whole neighborhood has 4 wheelers and these things below, but my neighbors just got some tracks.. I was AMAZED by how much they went threw.. we have probably a little over 2 feet on the ground and its NO problem driving threw ditches, threw the woods, anything. I even pulled the kids behind it in the sled all over.. Things pretty awesome. Now its next on my dads "things to buy list", but at $1200 for each track, it might be a little bit.

Sorry for such a bad pic, it was taken on my phone.

Ill get more later. I have video, but that was on my phone to and is REALLY pixilated.

That thing looks cool with the trax . Now all we need are a set of those for rc use ..that would be cool .

oh yea, when u put tracks on those atv type vehicles, they absolutly rock, i got to drive a ranger or something like that, had the tracks. drove it 2 years ago for about an hour up in michigan, used it to go retrieve a buddy that got his king quad stuck.

amazing crawling power

Looks like a Yamaha Rhino or something like it. Definitly looks like a blast. We don't get snow here, but it would probably be nice in the mud too!

Yes they are awesome in the mud too! I watched an 4 wheeler on trax run circles around another 4 wheeler with 29" outlaws on it. The tracked avt was almost unstoppable.....The bad thing is when it stopped it was really stuck and hard to get out.

Looks like it would be. I'm sure the trax help it "float" across stuff, since it does have more tread in contact with the ground that a tire does. I would love to have one just for the hell of it. Some guy around here had a Jeep set up with trax... Looked totally badass.

Its actually a polaris ranger. My dads looking to get one now and hes looking at the rhino and the prowler (artic cat). My dad HATES polaris's. Only thing I didnt like about the ranger is its only a 700cc, so its kinda doggy with the tracks on. A person can unlock the diffs from the inside which is kinda cool, and it goes faster but gets stuck on a wet fart. With the diffs locked, in the snow with the tracks, it only went 25mph max. (if that).
But this is the guy I call when I get stuck. He can get in and out of pretty much anywhere.. Has to be a killer setup for hunting.

oh heck yez! that same range ri was talking about, got burried the same 2 uears ago that i rode it. and there was 4 guys ride'n with us, i was on a king quad, my dad was on a sportsman 800, and the other 2 guys were on a grizzly and a brute. my dad hoked his 800 up to it via winch. had the front and rear brakes mashed as closed as he could ge tthem, started tightening the winch and the 800 just started dragging across the muddy/dry dirt surface. i was like wow..

we then chained the grizzle to the rear tow hook/hitch on the 800 and the guy on the grizzly drove in forward as my dad drove in reverse and wrked the winch.

finally got that sucker out though.

Thats the same brand his are. Very cool, but spendy!
