I came across this on ebay and thought I would share it lol, They claim this new truck will do 85 mph right out of the box sent from Japan what ya think hehe. All this for a little over 350 for the whole truck and here you guys are buying motors that will only get your truck up to 50 mph and spending way more than that lol :jk: , sounds like they are scamming people

My truck will hit over 100mph. Then again, it's a 1:1 Tahoe.

These days, everyone is claiming to have r/c's that will hit 60 mph, on eBay. It's usually the "newbie" that falls for it. The seasoned r/c owner will know better.

When I first got into rc,s I almost fell for something like this but did some research and found out they where full of it and that replacment parts are hard to get, which you need since these things are built very poorly!

Not unless ya got it chipped... They cut out at 100mph..lol..Sucks... Cuz my truck does the same thing.. Runs till 100 then totally cuts out until 95mph.... poop sucks..lol There still awesome as hell though!


But yeah, what a joke. That truck is generic as hell.. I give it 40mph TOPS! Maybe this person used the same radar as that one dude that I posted that his rc car went 114mph...lol.. Someone will fall for it though... Sad..

Yeah you gotta love those rev limiters lol. I used to have a Olds Acheiva and that thing would get up and move!! But as soon as it hit 110 rev limiter would kick in, if it wasn't for that it would have easily hit 140 at 110 it was still pulling hard then dut dut dut grrrr

I got it!!! It might do 85, but not in MPH but in KPH. They post it as MPH and when someone calls and complains they say "it was a misprint and its really KPH, sorry, tuff luck, No refunds". :shrug:

This isn't a Tahoe LT. It's a 1999 Tahoe Limited with the L31A. It cut's out at 128 ... I think. Speedo only hits 120. Pretty scary too!

I have a video of my Maxx doing over 160mph...

Windows Movie Maker has a thing called "speed up". It helps you make your movie in less time than it would normally take you to make it.

I was able to get my truck to 160mph, film the whole thing, get it into Movie Maker, and create my movie.

My striped array of dual 10,000rpm 160gb disks couldn't handle the speed so I can't show it to you.

lucky.. Mine goes 100 then cuts down till it gets to 90-95 somewhere in there and then gets back up..

there's a guy at my track got a few of the bodies that thing has and cut it to fit his revo......the paint job actually screen job on it looks like a 5 year old kid did it.....cheapo plastic too....flimsy as hell.......If the rest is anything like the body.....[said in my best Mr. T impersonation] I pity the foool buyin' that crap....
great for makin people think you gat a poop box RC under the lid......I like the fact you can make a sleeper RC way easier than ay 1:1......
