A bald tire is more fun than 10 shelf-queens!Don't look at my tires. I know they are getting bald.

True. On my race buggy when I used to do carpet, since it's metal chassis (and same with the mini b) I used tape and regular chassis protectors. On the Traxxas plastic chassis, really left them as is and didn't use any protectors and tape. Now since carpet track close, now it's ideally only bashing and clay / dirt tracksyes to lcg if you add some washers under that tape it will lower it even more as long as you dont tear carpet
Where you get them custom Traxxas ones? Not that bad for my first time cutting out a universal protector. Since no one (But 1up racing but those were out of stock) stocks b74.1 pre cut chassis protectors anymore. Ugh.
Although for the mini b, the one I got now is still good. But I did get a new Upgrade RC one.

Sadly yes. And these new carpet tracks I'm going to, they mandate it. Have to go through Tech. Ugh. Rules. Are chassis protectors required on carpet tracks?
Wow, it never dawned on me a loose screw ect.. could probably wreak havoc on the carpet.Sadly yes. And these new carpet tracks I'm going to, they mandate it. Have to go through Tech. Ugh. Rules.
The old local tracks were more lenient about it. I just used gorilla tape. But now it has to be an actual vinyl sheet.
