Well after many days of thinking of how to get my ride height back down to 3" after doing the shock mod like Lloyd did, I decided to modify my chassis a little where the shocks attach to it so the shocks would not hit on the chassis when mounted on the inside, I also decided to go back to using body post and went with a two body post set up on top insted of two per side, I just drilled and tapped my cross braces for a 3MM screw and attached some stock Axial body mounts that I had. here is some before and after pics.

Thats looks to be the way to go in your situation, nice job.
