I have TONS of stuff to do it. I'm going to fabricate custom bumpers, mount a functional winch on it, find a 72 chevy long wheelbase body to fit it (because I have a 1:1 68 Chevy pickup that I did a frame off restoration on), hopefully a hardbody, put a set of true scale wheels on it. I'm not going to use piggy back shocks, I'm going to use shocks that are true to scale without piggybacks. I'm going to be machining a lot of parts for it, maybe putting some into production to resale through East End Machining. I'm also going to build a trailer, similar to a flatbed race trailer, to pull my crawler with.
That's going to be about it for this one. The pinion angles may be addressed, but you have to keep in mind that this is not a crawler, and it's not something that I'm going to be driving outside. I will be building an RC4WD trailfinder kit in about a month, and once I get it to show quality standards, I MIGHT use this as my runner, but it's doubtful. I think I'm going to build a tube frame truggy that will be my runner/scale crawler. Since I'll be designing every bit of the chassis from the ground up, I will be able to design the suspension geometry to handle more like a crawler. This truck is built more along the lines of a true scale Chevy pickup with some mods done to increase offroad performance. My tuber will be built as a scale model of a truck that has been in the hands of a hardcore crawler and has had a lot of the stock parts replaced.
