man i would love to sounds like you are going to have a nice track.dont forget tell me when you come to cocoa beach i am not to far from there

If you need help work'n on it, just let me know. I'm only a couple short hours away. And during breaks, we can bash in the 6 dump truck loads of dirt. lol

trust me, the ointment works better than trying to mash it out with a steaming hot metal rolling pin.

A blow torch and an ice pick works well.
You're right, Savagefan04, I knew I was in trouble the instant I hit the 'submit' button.

We've had so much rain here, just when it's almost dry enough to start dirt work, it storms. We've got some rain coming tonight, but we're pretty sure unless something crazy happens, we'll be spreading dirt tuesday or wednesday.

Wow! looking awesome!

I can't wait to see the progress!

I have a track in my back yard in a field(Its about 4 feet under all of the weeds) But I never did get to far with it..
lack of equipment to work on it with.

Charlie,...I just noticed this thread. What an awsome track!! Now I'm embarrassed showing pics of the "track" the boys have been working on. All we have here is hills and rocks. Any more pics? What kind of dog is that? Looks like my Duke. Black lab rottie mix. All black.

That's Bogie. Really these are his RC's and it's his house, I just work for him. He's a black lab. I've had them all my life, but he's definitely got a personality like no other. He sleeps in the bed with me every night and goes to work with us at the office. My parents call him my lil brother.

I think the track that the boys are working on is absolutely beautiful. The best part is, they are making the most of what they already have. I grew up on a farm with some land in the country, and all my buddies that lived near us had land. When we wanted a place to ride our four wheelers or go carts, we would go cut trails very similar to what your son does. Every summer, we would spend days and days working out there. We usually spent most of the summer cutting trails and making jumps, and then we only had a few weeks to enjoy them before school started again. Now, the only difference is I work my butt off at two jobs to afford to build a track like this and have my toys too. It's taken a while to build it because I had to save up for a few weeks for my dirt and materials because I have to pay my living expenses and college tuition, then use whats left for my RC's.
