As many of you already know, I've been working on a home track. I'm working two jobs, buying, building, and bashing RC's, etc, etc... sooo, money and time are a bit limited sometimes. Mostly time. Anyway, I have had some dirt brought in and dumped near the track, so now that the layout is complete, I will start moving the dirt onto the track. I had to figure out exactly how I would position it for the drivers stand and pit row table to be in the right spot so the sun wouldn't be in our eyes. I've had two dumptrucks of dirt brought, so I still have to get two more. All that's left is to spread the dirt and build the jumps, and then lay down my drainpipe and pull up the stakes and string. I know it's coming along slowly, but at least it's coming a long. Sorry for the bad pics, I was in a hurry.

Great looking track bro!!! wish could come and rip some of that grass off!!! Anyway, good job man.

Thats awesome. you live in louisiana? so you have had fresh craw? never had it but i heard it was good.

Thanks for all the comments guys, glad you like it. Its always motivating to here stuff like that from you guys. Keep em comin, and I'll post some better pics as I get further along. I really torn because I wanted a big track for the 5b's, but I didn't want it to be too big for the electrics, so I settled on this size and set it up so there will be a few gates if I ever need to shorten the track.

You must be talking about fresh crawfish? You bet!! I eat em every year. They go from crawlin around in the yard to the boiler to the table all in about 15 minutes, best eating you'll ever have as far as I'm concerned.

The lay out looks great Charlie! Let me know when the first race will be.....I got something for that 5b

Ya what is that something Smaxxin, you holdin out on us lol. Nice track build man. You renting a Bobcat or all hand work.

Bryson

I've got 2 tractors with front end loaders here already, and if I need a bobcat, our company has several. I think the front-end loaders and box blades with be fine for now, may use the bobcat when I start banking the big turn.

Man... you would be even cooler if you hosted a RCNT Bash. Hint Hint

man that's a great idea.

OK Everyone, Offical RCNT Bash. I've decided to host it after being nominated, so I've decided to host it at Jon's house. Everyone show up there bright and early next Sunday morning.

Cool. I have had crab. is it anything the same?

Alright, we've finally had some sunshine, so if the weather holds I will have 6 more dumptruck loads of good dirt delivered Thursday. I will spread it Saturday morning.

I've gotta share in my good news. I'm sitting at home waiting for the doorbell to ring and the dirt man to come. I ordered six dump truck loads to be delivered tomorrow but I'm going to be out of town, so he's coming today so I can show him how to get the trucks in there close to the track where the ground is solid and stuff like that. I'm getting excited and wanted to tell someone, so I figured why not tell 10,00 plus people who are members on the forum, I'm sure out of all those people someone will read my post!

well thats great i can't wait to see pics of the finished track.sounds like you will be busy with 6 loads of dirt
