I'm getting all my electric gear together now and I have a question concerning charging batteries. I bought a Hitec X4 charger and I have some Tracpower 4s lipos on order that come with dean plugs. (I haven't read the manual yet)
It looks like if the batteries had banana connectors I could plug them directly into the charger. Should I cut the ends off and solder on some banana plugs or should I make an adapter cable to connect to the battery and charger?

I'm confused, Your getting lipos with deans, and you want to know if you should buy an adaptor or change the deans to banana's to plug straight in charger.

What's on the esc?, I'm sure the charger should come with deans to banana and the lipos just plug into that.

I opened the charger box today and they came with two sets of banana plugs on one end and nothing on the other. So I need to order some male deans to solder on the ends.

In my OP I was thinking that it would be easier to just cut off the deans and put banana, but since this is my first electric and haven't started the build yet, I didn't fully think that statment. I guess I need to order twe sets of male deans, one for the charger and one for the esc. oops/
