Hi, fairly new to the rc scene, i have bought myself a cessna trainer plane with a sc32 engine. The battery seems to be flat as the control switches were sharp at responding to the controls, now they are sluggish and some have even stopped responding. I am just wondering what type of charger i need to charge the batteries? if anyone has any knowledge they would like to share with me that would be great.

cheers

the battery plug is a small thin black connection with 3 pins.

i have tried searching but i can't seem to find it

It is a servo type connector usually called a JR- or Futaba type of connector (they're slightly different).

thanks managed to get it now, also do you know if it would be possible to use a sc32 engine for a nitro plane and use it on a rc boat? probably a stupid question but my brother owns a rc boat and would be cool to fit one of them in it, problem would be trying to connect the propshaft to the engine to spin.

Here's the one you're looking for...

It is possible, but he's better off using a marine engine since they are water-cooled and would last longer than the plane engine would without air cooling it.

thanks for the help, will more than likely buy a marine engine. thanks again guys
