Is there one that could pretty much work with any of the BL motors the company distributes?

mamba max should work with everything.you have to watch what batterys ya runnin with what motor tho....like they say not to run a 7700 with a 3s and so on

So could you run the 1/8 mm esc with a 1/10 motor? I know that seems a bit stupid to ask but it would be a question that would be floating in my head for the longest time if I didn't ask.

The monster may work with all the motors. I'm just saying because it is 1/8th scale and was made to handle off-road monster brushless.

Monster Max will work with all sensorless brushless motors from 1/18 thru 1/8 scale. Mamba Max will work with 1/18 thru 1/8 scale but will require use of external BEC/fan with anything greater than 3S lipo.

5700KV on 3S is fine for short high speed runs and proper gearing. For 1/10 scale motors, anytime you approach the 60K rpm mark keep your runs short in duration and watch your motor/esc temps.
