i was looking at the carbon fiber chassis for the savage, i was wondering how much this chassis can take. Like from experience

yea this post was accidently posted twice so delete it

yeah its strong and your truck will be lighter

i just talk to my buddy and he told me its strong but its flex alot.....

I've got them, mine take a beating from my bashing and have minor nicks in them (hardly noticeable) and hold up nicely and plus look good. But when i took off my aluminum tvp's to replace with my new carbon fiber ones i could hardly notice a difference.

just a word of caution. do your reseach on the maker of the CF. some use "filler" and just a couple layers of CF on the outside. those are crap will break in a bad crash. in this market, u get what u pay for. going cheap in the begining will ultimately cost u more in replacing them. Take a look at VP CF plates. these ARE the best in the hobby. cost a bit more, but well worth the coin.

as for it being strong, i have never seena VP set break, but have cracked a few HPI ones...
