it seems that ON the OS engine that I just got the carb is very able to twist, so I pulled it out and checked the O ring and it was in Good condition. Is there any sort of sealant that I should put in here to keep it in place??

use RVT blue silicon to seal the carb it will keep it still and air tight

There is a little bolt on the engine block near the base of the carb that you can tighten to keep the carb from spinning.

alright it seemed to be about 1/8 of a turn out so I tightened it down thanks for the help

Actually its RTV Sensor safe automotive sealant. You canget clear or they have a light blue colored one. Wipe the carb neck clean prior and then apply a THIN layer of it near the top of the carb neck. Careful not to get this in the crankcase.

Yeah, as jon said, this stuff goes a long way, so use a little. An end of a zip tie works good for an aplicator.

When you reinstall the carb, press down HARD on the neck while tightening the clamp. That insures that the O-ring is properly compressed.
