I have a red cat volcano s30 and whenever I start it it wants to take off like idle is too high but no matter where idle is it still does it lsn is 2 1/2 out HSN is even with top of slide I notice that while it's running if I take and adjust lsn if I push in on it car dies any help will b appreciated

Once it starts up use the throttle trim dial on your Tx to trim the throttle down to stop it taking off. It will need the trim up for that bit of extra gas to help the engine start, then you trim it down once it starts.

Throttle trim is set to lowest setting and it still wants to go

Not sure about that engine with carb settings ,but the Lsn sounds like its too lean with only 2 1/2 turns out!
Most engines that setting is usually at least flushed out ,or have 5 to 6 turns on them.
With the low setting like that ,it could be starving of fuel causing the engine to run lean an having it to
idle high!..

I see ppl say stock setting on carb is 2 1/2. ? Is a single turn 360 degrees or 180 degrees

OK so since 1 turn is 360 degrees is it 2 1/2 turn or six lol cause that's a big difference

It is 3.5 complete turns out. But a flush setting is better. Also is the slide set abut .75 mm open. Make sure when you let off the tirgger it snaps back to idle setting no hanging up.

Flush how do you get the lsn flush isn't the HSN the 1 with a collar around it ?

Make note...These are not the permanent settings but are meant as a good starting point.

LSN you back it out till its flush with the face of the throttle linkage arm. Hard to explain but if you look at the carb pic. Rolex posted in the his last comment you see the LSN is flush with the throttle linkage.
