Hey, I am brand new to this nitro car stuff, but eventually managed to get my new car started, but it stalls after anything from 1 sec to about 30 secs and usually makes one loud click at the same time. It sounds as if something is jamming the engine. It also feels as if the engine is flooded when trying to start it, even when I take out the glow plug and clean out the fuel it still feels the same. I fear I may have damaged the engine somehow....please help:)

My truck makes a tick noise if you let it run out of fuel, or it dies when running (I have it tuned good now, and try not to let it run out.) But it sounds like yours may be louder.

I used this: https://www.rcnitrotalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=60832 as a guide to get mine working well. Find out what your engines factory settings are, then follow the chart.

Telling us what kind of car and engine you have might help the folks around here with a broader knowledge base help you more.

Thanks, I'll check out that link.
The engine just says Team Infinity 18.
I just noticed when trying to start the car, the start pull cord gets pulled in the last cm or so when I hear the click and the car stalls, also the clicking occurs when yanking the pull cord too.

Pull your clutch bell off and check your springs on the clutch shoes, you could have one broken or out of place.
