Cap Coming off Motor Saver Filters

I use the t-maxx style motor saver filter on every rc car i have. I put an outer filter on all of them for extra filtration.

I have never had either of my motor savers come apart. I love them!! My friend had one come off on him but i was understandable after seeing what he did.

wow! fast shipping. thanks a lot motor savers! i tell ya, this design looks good. I had a hard time getting it in. I see where you guys were coming from when deciding to put the little rods on the sides. less wobble and leaning inside the filter casing. Thanks again motor savers!

I noticed the new design worked so well I could hardly get it in. haha. But when it comes time to clean the filter, how do I get it out? I used to just push one end and it would come out. this time you can't do that. Please help. Thanks

LOL, your right, I noticed the same thing. It was definately harder to get it in, and seems to stay put much better than the original cap. I did not take mine back out yet though, but I am sure it will be more difficult than the old style, lol.

First we complain that it falls off... then we complain that it won't come off... tisk tisk... we're never happy.

I still haven't installed mine yet. But I have one!

ok here is my suggestion about how to get the cap off now, I have not seen exactly how they work but if its just held in place by friction then couldn't you just do the same little mod that we do on the gas cap, have some sort of handle that you can pull the cap out with??? this would only make a SMALL hole in the screen, nothing that would affect performance or ability to filter
any thoughts or suggestions?????

Who's complaining? Just an observation. I would much rather have it be a little more difficult to install and remove vs. having it fall off while running.
