I've got an rc 10gt. I got a .18 os cv-r engine for it. I've been trying ot get this thing started all day. I have checked the fuel lines. There are no bubbles in the lines. The fuel is getting to the combustion chamber. The glow plug lights up bright but I get no fire. When I checked the glow plug I heard the fuel "sizzle" off the end of the GP. I have no idea what the problem is. Please help!

Check your manual for the needle settings and reset them. They may be off. I've received a new engine in the past that had the HSN screwed all the way in.

Once that is done, set your throttle trim on your radio so it's applying about 10-20 percent throttle. Once primed again (fuel can be seen through the lines at the carb), put the heater on, let it sit for 10 seconds or so and try starting it again.

What are the temps outside where your trying to run it? I've found that many engines do not like to start (especially at break-in) when it's below 60F outside.

This engine was used. It has about 14 tanks run through it. It was like 65 yesterday. Today its about 70 but I'm gonna play with my maxx for a while.
