A couple of observations...
1. A glo plug that is glowing orange vice white is not hot enough. If the glo plug is brand new, then your ignitor is weak. Some sub c or sub d cell ignitors just don't cut it. You may want to try another ignitor.
2. Overpriming (or flooding) the engine can cause this issue. Fuel starvation can cause this issue. Do not flood the engine. Check your fuel filter to make certain it is not clogged up or partially blocked, as this will cause an artificially lean condition and make the engine hard to start.
3. Lack of compression...if the engine is old, you can get a new one (if your pockets are deep enough)...or you could get a new piston and sleeve....or you could try to get the sleeve pinched. Any one of these things will be costly. I would say, solve the glo plug problem, verify the fuel problem as non-existent, and then try to start it up. Sometimes, the lack of solid compression can be overcome by a nice hot plug and some decent fuel supply. In the end, you can run the RC, but will probably still need to look into a new engine or refit of the old one.
