some help me deside what to get. i have $500 so I'm trying to decide to get a traxass t-maxx 3.3 or the losi ten t. i like both of them but need so more info about both of them

Personally, I wouldn't consider the maxx at all, they've fixed some of th eproblems, but the ones that remain will forever keep it off any "want it" list for me. The revo on the other hand, worthwhile rig with the right upgrades.

The ten-t does look cool.

Where do you plan on running? The ten-t is a low to the ground rig. An MT isn't.

i plan on running it on my backyard track its a short track

Have you considered the Savage X 4.6? It's just over 400, and you can beat the snot out of it.

well i thought about that to but i kinda like the new 2.4 reciver now with traxxas

Ah, that needs to be looked into then. Even without a 2.4 radio, the Savage is a much better buy. You can spend the money on the upgrade parts to keep your Maxx moving, or upgrade the radio for your Savage at your convenience.

I can't say anything about the T-Maxx, but the Savage X is a good truck. If you really want a 2.4ghz, just watch eBay, or forums for a deal.

Ok I've had both trucks The T-Maxx I bought brand new and in the year and a half that I owned it I replaced everything on it except for the fuel tank. It was the only thing that didn't break. I had a lot of fun outta the Maxx but spent about as much time wrenching on it as I did running it. I bought the Savage used it's an older X model that had the 4.1 on it. It had been beat to hell but was still intact and fully functional. I gave it a good cleaning and replaced the old engine with a new 4.6 and upgraded the diffs and brakes and put the three speed kit in it. Man i gotta tell ya for the money the Savage is a much much better buy. Tough easy to work on not that you have to that much, and just plain badass! I have literally tried to break the thing and it just shruggs it off and keeps on rippin. I have already sold the Maxx and I'm planning on getting an XL when I get my income taxes.

allright this has all been helpfull to me so. so if i do get the savage what brand of gas is the best so i can have longer engine life

I use a brand called Wildcat Eliminator 20% nitro with 14% oil been using for about 2 years now. I like it because it's blended with rust inhibitor's so it doesn't require after run oil. Byron's is also a real good brand I've used it too but it runs about a dollar more a gallon than the Wilcat does. My Savy ran really well on both of them.

i ve owned every version of the tmaxx from the orginal pro.15 to the new 3.3 2.4 which i have now and its like night and day I've been trying to break it also with bashing hard jumps 10 ft in the air wheelies like crazy to tell you the truth you can't go wrong with the maxx or the savage

Just my thoughts here. I have a maxx 2.5R that's is a black hole for cash. A-arms,bulkheads,shocks,ect ect ect. My buddy tho has a savage x 4.6 that he has bashed harder then my maxx ever saw. Needless to say my savage arived in the mail yesterday....
