I was lookin at the AE 8.0 - Might be a little too much motor... Wait, what am I saying?!

If I can find a used AE 8.0 (actually an LRP engine rebadged, if memory serves) for a decent price, I might go that route... I do know that I'll probably end up buying the MGT direct from AE (if possible) just to further stick it to HPI.

Sounds good - I'll shoot ya a call sometime sunday between football games (finally got a new surround sound for the 54" big screen in the front room!). Might even have to bring the camera and get a vid of the SC8.

Sounds like a plan to me. I will be at gamestop in anderson from 5:30 to 7:30. I will bring the SC8 with me and maybe run it around in the lot. But the dirt is the most fun.

I got a spare 427 L88 in the shop if you wanna just go that route. LOL

Sweet, I'll meet ya up there... It's like one minute from where I live. I might grab the MBX and slap on the road rages... maybe run a tank thru it.

2 1/2 gallons is just barley broke in but my ofna lx1 had the engine for 4 days and broke the pushrod my dad just yealled and said some words and talked to a manager and we got our engine fixed also some other thaings extra pull cords and a hat

I think the guy I talked to was a minimum wage me-no-give-a-care type. Either way, I'm sure the rest of HPI's staff isn't that heartless.

shoot one day just call ofna just pretend you have a car see how much they care there voice never changes and they muble and they just dont care my diff went out 3 times all they said well send the broke parts and we will fix it or whatever i got it back and guess what it dident work it locked up so i cranked the engine up and dident have the remote and i opened the throttle to max and the rear end came unstock and it took off
i chased the thaing through 4 yards

thats a handy bit of information...i am considering a hellfire, and a baja5t..and will definitly think about it more now i know about their customer servise..i myself have alot of traxxas stuff..and thier customer support is great!

Actually, the one time I did call Ofna, they were quite helpful. When I was chasing down a carb for my C4, they dry-fitted a carb from an Ofna Hyper 21 8 port to a NovaRossi engine they had in their shop. Course, I think they expected me to purchase a carb from them, lol. I ended up giving that money to another member (gladly; I'd rather give a fellow site member the cash any day).

ya traxxas is great most of the parts on traxxas car i got for free from them
