ok i bought a ths pipe and it came with a exhaust manifold, is it OK to use the one that came with my savage? i really do not want to take my old exhuast manifold out!

also where the heck can i get a nova head for a savage, i looked everywhere and still nothing! (A linked would be nice) thanks!

Pretty standard is going to be the THS one piece for the Savage. So providing thats the one you have, then yes, the stock header SHOULD work. I believe after I cooked my THS header I used the stocker and it fit fine.

Just pay attention to whether or not you have a major exhaust leak where the header and pipe meet. If I recall, I bought a new couple rubber for inbetween and made it a little more snug.

That pipe is awesome by the way.

yes iam a newbie, where the heck do i put these rubber tube thingys, my pipe came with two of them??

I believe the the rubber thing you are talking about is a coupler. It goes between the pipe and the header. You will need two zip ties to attach it.

sry, i mean the rubber gaskets not the coupler, sry for not saying it well, why the heck would i need rubber gaskets?? :\

The air would leak and the metal on metal vibration would cause more interference than you can imagine ;)

It depends on your header/muffler as to where they go.

On a rear round exhaust port engine, you need one there between your header and engine to seal it and to help against metal to metal vibration. On the header/mufflers that require springs to hold the two together, you need one at the connection point as well to do the same.

I did a crude chop up of where the gaskets would go on the kind of header/exhaust I have. Basically, where the arrows are.
