my question is can i go wrong if i buy this kit.
iam looking for a pro rc race car that i can drive on the track.

is the g4 any competitive?

Yes it is a very competitive car. Over here in the states, I've noticed a decline in RC racers actually racing them. The popular cars here are the TC3, Mugen MTX-3, Serpent 710, HPI R40 & Kyosho Vr one. But you can't go wrong with that car.

And with the set-up it comes with makes it race ready.

well the accesories seem good and so does the price so i think its a pretty good car especialy the lightweight 4mm aluminum chassis along with the carbon shock towers and the threaded aluminum shock absorbers.

I had a G4 pro E class the evo2 is similar to the pro version I gave it a shot but there is way to much that is needed to make it a top contender versus the top three. So i sold it & got a serpent 710. The G4 evo2 here is some negative info the chasis is very weak one guy who raced against us got into a serious accident & the chasis cracked. The gearing ratio can't compete with the 710 or mtx3 it loses from the snap of the line in a race. the battery holder is known for not being stable & to loose that @ one point it ejected for the bottom & the car took away. other than it still is a pretty good car that needs adjustments also the diffs leak so you really have to make sure they are built correctly.

ah thnx for the replys

well the serpents are made in holland, but they are so expensive here.
a rolling chassis = 600,50 dollar.

you guys know a good online shop where i can order them? if the price is right, maybe ill get a serpent 710 then.
