Can anyone tell me what these are for?

Can anyone tell me what THESE are for? i know those are to the DX18 but they make em for the DX8 also but I havent the foggiest what theyre for.

The only thing I could figure is there for plugging extra holes on the transmitter if it has acc port holes or something. That's merely a guess.

Hmmmm, I do see where two of those are on teh back of my DX8 but they are in such odd locations. That and they seem to be glued in place. I wonder if theres anything under them...I kinda dont want to rip off the plugs and risk tearing them up for no reason.
