Since we're always posting pictures, we might as well have a thread dedicated to the cameras we use. Let us know what you have, the features you like or the plus and minus features.

Nikon D5000 Digital SLR Camera Body

Nikon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor Lens

Nikon 55-200mm f/4-5.6G DX AF-S ED Zoom-Nikkor Lens

Bell & Howell Z480AF Zoom Flash (for Nikon i-TTL)

Transcend 16GB HC SecureDigital Class 6 (SDHC) Card

I'm not a pro by any means, but this beats the Kodak Z1012is that I was using before. Feature-wise, there's nothing missing that I feel I need, as an amateur it does what I need.

Are we using this as a photo thread too? Maybe a place to show off your favorite shots?

A pic of the camera would be good, but we'll save this thread for information purposes. If enough members show an interest in posting creative photography I'll start a thread for that.

Sounds good. Tomorrow I'll get a pic of all my stuff and post it. I need to clean everything up still from the last race. I'll edit my first post to add the pic.

Canon EOS Digital Rebel

Canon 18-55 kit lens(not that good)

Canon Zoom Lens EF 90-300mm 4.5-5-6 USM (Pretty good in good lighting situations)

Sigma EX DG 20mm 1.8 (my favorite lens, takes in so much light it's ridiculous)

Sigma EF-500 DG ST Flash

Velbon Sherpa tripod. Very good and sturdy tripod.

By today's standards my camera body is outdated, and the 3shot burst capability is a drawback compared to, say my dad's 7D.

But it's get's the job done, and with a good lens, it's still a very good camera. I need to find a replacement for the 18-55mm. Something like a 18-90mm would be ideal.

Nothing any where near as fancy as your guy's stuff but I have a L110 Nikon, love it, love it, love it...

Canon Rebel XT
Canon kit lens
Tamron 18-300mm F 3.5-6.5
Speedlite

Considering taking the plunge on a Canon 70-200 F2.8
