I dont know if this was already posted but I'm curious. You Savage owners, I'm calling on you. These freakn' things seem to be almost unbreakable. Whats the worst crash you've had with the least or no damage at all? Dont be shy, I wanna hear them all. I'll speak for my neighbor......top end, tree......you know the rest. He did more damage to the tree then the tree did to the truck. But lets here these stories...come on!

I've had it cartwheel doing about 30mph with no damage. Oh yeah, slammed into a tree head on doing a good 15-20mph.

I've ran into a garage door at about 25-30 mph and nothing happened.

I've run into a 24'' concrete pillar at wot withthe 18 tooth clutch bell with just a bent chassis

Been there dog, only mine was a tree!I broke mine good, severly bent both TVP,broke 1 shock and 1 steering crank.

The only 2 things I've broken yet are the inside hexes on my stock rims and an aluminum tank guard.

Aside from that - NOTHING!

And Woodie and I had achieved some wicked sick air!!!

the tech at my LHS just ran into a concrete post at full speed......had to replace everything except the battery cover and fuel tank....lol! He said it snapped in 2, the front end also cracked in half, the shocks were all blown or snapped in half, the engine broke out and went spinning in the air (unrepairable now), servos were obviously gone.....you get the idea. Hey, hes got brand new aluminum parts now, so its not that bad.....lol:ha:

hit a lightpole at a local park doing about 30 mph @ night time and knocked the light out !! LOL , no dmg to my ride!! Also hit a concrete pole doing about the same spd and nothing! but one time i went up a curb and barely even hit it and ended up losing a drive shaft and busted a pin on my bulkhead and my Servo Box + the shaft for the steering!! all because of a loose factory screw!!

So far, the worst damage I have had is a busted set of rear bulkheads. Sometimes landing a very heavy truck on its ass from a great height is not a good thing.

When I first bought my Savage, I ran it under a car and wedged it in and bent the roll bar. My friend that same day hit a no parking sign doing about 25 dead on and no damage. I then jumped my Savage over a kitchen chair using a Toboggan bottom and hit the back of the chair shattering the chair and breaking the left rear shock.
This year I will jump off my ranchhouse roof with a small jump installed on the edge and see what kind of damage I can do. I will provide pics of this and many other stupid stunts. It's all out this year.

the first time i ran my savage, me and a buddy setup a 3' high launch ramp against a parking lot curb. i went full throttle from about 200' away, missed the ramp, and slammed into the curb. it looked and sounded really bad but all i broke was a front lower arm so i switched to aluminum

Yesterday I was bashing in a bike track, big jums = big fun, I landed in all possible positions, back, front, rear, some good landings:hehe: , in the last bad landing after a 12 feet jump I broke the fuel tank and fun was finished, anyway I think is really a durable car, :tank:

I too have found the "savages" to be "Almost-Indestructable" just before I BROKE-IT again!

i knocked that metal bar off that holds the back tires in place. but it snapped right back on. had some bad landings and some carwheels. how much are drive shafts, and are they easy to replace?

drive shafts at my lhs are about 6 bucks for a stock one. to replace them, only take out a few screws to loosen stuff up then your set.

Wow, I've had my savy about 4 months now and race it every week. The first jump on this track gives at least 15 feet of air with 15 to 20 feet of distance. I have landed the truck on every corner and the lid as well. It has done enough cart wheels to make a cheerleader jealous and the only damage has been a bent roll bar. This is one tough truck all it needs is wings.:hehe:   :w00t:

Hmmm finally broke my bumper somehow. I've been running it kinda hard lately though. Beyond that I have a rear screw that keeps popping out for some weird reason. Can't keep them in there at all.

I have done a lot to my savage. I have jumped 10 feet in the air landed directly on the front bumper and then cartwheeled down a a steep hill and it ended up crashing into a tree. Nothing. I hit a five-foot jumpe that i made at WOT and got about 15 feet of air and i went for a front flip. I slammed the brakes in mid air and it did 3/4 of a front flip. You know what happened next. So far I have broke 1 screw that holds on the bumper.:hehe:

Well...also I have broken 2 gas tanks, don't really know how...
