thanks

the losi 8ight 2.0 is amazing and now they make an rtr version that comes with a Spektrum Dx3S and a starter box is included!!!

lot of $$ but it does look like a real good buggy to have for some competition down the road...

i have my eyes on maybe a RC8RS RTR or maybe a hyper 8.5 RTR or violator now.. gonna be set tomorrow for sure.. XD

I have the rc8 and it is a good choice. I wasn't to happy with the engine in the RS rtr. but that's not to say you wont have better luck with it. overall the buggy is solid and you can upgrade easy as time goes by if that is the route you want to go. If not go with the RC8 b which has a lot of already upgraded parts already installed. Although give the parts availability some thought as you make your decision

The parts availability is temporary and only for those parts which were updated between the RC8 and the RC8B (towers, battery box, etc) while everyone and their brother upgrades their RC8 to the B. Everything else is identical and parts are plentiful.

The RC8 is a good choice. It's not the cheapest (compared to the OFNA for instance) but is one of the best in terms of moving from playing around to competitive racing.

I was referring to the parts availability at their local hobby shop not parts arability in general. Everyone knows there are tons of parts online. But it’s a lot more convenient to buy at your local track/ hobby store.
