IMO the safest way to do stuff is by money orders. As soon as you drop anything into the mailbox, its because a federal issue. Money orders can be tracked easily also. Plus if its a Post office money order, thats even more federal. Thats the way I do all my deals. (Deliver confirmation kicks ass too. Them signing for it is a nail in the coffin if they try to screw you)

I agree, been doing money orders for years and never had a problem, had a Pay-Pal account for 5 months, bought 4 things all from great members here, and I got scammed, got a PP recipt saying I bought jewlery for $89. got that one cleard up after a month, and about a month later I had a recipt for $300. luckly the bank stopped payment since it was a large out of place amount of money. I will never hav a PP account again. just not worth it.

I do all my Paypal with credit/debit and haven't had a single issue. Got cheated out of $40 by using a MO, though. If you're getting invoices like that from PP then somebody managed to get ahold of your card # and info. You check your 'puter for spyware? That really sucks... hope I don't have that issue now *shudders*.

I recommend not using Paypal at all,They simply will not hold up their end of a deal on any kind of a claim,even if you so call "win" a dispute it doesn't actually mean that you will ever see one red cent ;-(... If you Buy something from a forum,the person could send you a box of dirt,as long as they sent something thats all that matters.Go ahead file a claim THEY DONT CARE!!! and if the seller says you are lying they will believe him and not you.What a load of bull.If you have to use Paypal please only use a CC/ATM card or something that gives you(the buyer) protection from the scum out there.PLEASE READ This is a deal gone REALLY bad I'm STILL out the $1050 and many others also.If this doesn't belong here please tell me where to post it so it will help the most people,Thanks.I'm the same Nitro21 in this thread http://www.rctech.net/forum/showthread.php?t=121567If you have had any contact/or made a deal with any of the names on this list it may already be to late...
