i have a sport maxx w/ 4wd and a 24.7 engine by xtm. when i was driving it the clutch acted like it broke. i have to give it full throttle to get it to start moving. its not running rich, the engine sounds like its about to blow up. whats goin on? and how can i fix it?

You either have worn clutch shoes or the tension on your clutch shoes is too great. Either way you'll have to take off your engine and clutch bell to check.

yes i have the xtm 24.7 engine too and i had the same thing happen. i had to go and replace the clutch shoes in it.

i took the engine apart and found out that the flywheel nut was loose, put some loctite on it and it works fine. now i notice that theres black rubber dust from the clutch on the chassis. it never did that with my 2.5

i dont think that he is going to answer u. he is gone on a trip i think.

He is a paintball finatic - or at least was HEAVILY into the sport at one time.

He more than likely honestly liked the name.....

oh, ok couldnt tell if he really meant it, well i was driving my truck today and the clutch spring snapped! damaged alot of parts like the bell, spur gear is smooth now and the swinging spring dented my pipe and chasis
