I just bought Eddies Xb8 from him and was wondering about bodies for this.. This will be my 1st buggy so please bear with me if this is a dumb question.. Id imagine that not all 1/8th scale buggy bodies fit each other correct? If not, what does a person look for to see what bodies will fit what? I've seen specific bodies for specific buggies, but then just saw other ones that sound universal in there description. Is there any other bodies that will fit my Xb8 than specific ones just for the Xb8?

A dremel will make any body fit, but most likely will look like crap when done.

You are better off getting bodies that are made to fit your ride.

JConcepts Illuzion bodies are a good choice.

BTW, congrats on the purchase of Ed's rig. You won't be disappointed.

Yeah I saw that. (Didnt relize it was for a Xb8 though). Thats a sweet lid, I just have wayyy to much fun painting them..lol.. I was just telling Ed today about how I got a new airbrush and compressor for Xmas and I still havnt used it. I had like 5-6 bodies for 1 r/c just because I like to paint..lol.. But its definatly a nice lid and a sweet deal.

I just got my Jconcepts lid today.. VERY nice.. Thanks for the suggestion Rob. Ill be sure to post some pics once I get it sprayed.
