i want to do brushless to my e-maxx any1 have any experiance with this controller and wany motors besides there 400 dollar one

I am in the process of turning my new emaxx brushless but if you get mamba monster and a neu you can go pretty fast on four cells lipo or you can wait until castle creations comes out with their system in a couple of weeks which will cost $300 they said. The mamba monster cost around $175 at towerhobbies and then you get deals like if you spend $150 or over you get $20 off. I got my new e maxx for $346 plus a $25 gift card.

You can get the Novak HV Pro system for $300, I think that's about the cheapest deal you're going to find that was actually designed to be run on a moster truck. I just bought the 4.5 turn setup for my Revo. I think you need to be prepared to spend $600 for the system with batteries and the tranny gears to handle the power. Some guys are running the Mamba Max ESC with the Feigao brushless motors, like 8XL or 9XL, and getting away with it. You can buy that setup for around $220 or so. I reccomend at least a 6000 mah 2S LiPo or better, or you wont have much run time at all so to speak of. Here's a place where I found those motors on sale.

any system is going to cost about $300 then plus at least $200 for batteries. Then you will have to upgrade the drivertrain. If you go to towerhobbies.com you can get the novak hv systems for about $250 then you will get $25 off because you spent over $150 or $200. I got Two 2cell 6000mah lipos from maxamps.com for about $230 shipped. You can go buy two lower turn brushed motors. I have also seen people buy one traxxas velinem brushless motor and a 3 cell lipo and it goes pretty fast.
