,when i have got my new esc, reciever and battery and finnaly brushless motor
how do i go about putting it in, is it the same as putting any other motor in?
i can't see how it would be but i want to check first

Well there are three wires for the motor instead of thee I believe, and if it's sensored there will be some more wires coming from the motor. If the motor turns in the wrong direction, you can switch two of these wires and it should be OK. Other than that, make sure that you're using a good connector like Deans or Traxxas high current because the draw from the brushless setup will melt a tamaya connector.

just like he said. it will have three wires instead of thee.

The motor and ESC will both have three wires, sorry I should have been more clear. The wires will match up just like the two wires do when you hook up a brushed motor. Connect the three wires and test the motor, and if it goes the wrong way then switch two of the wires.

There is still only two wires for the battery just two clarify that part of the install but you should have manuals with all of the stuff you are buying to help with your install..

ok thanks for the help guys (Y) do you reccomend any decent esc's /brushles motors i could get, I'm not on a budget so do you think i should just go full blown or get something a little less hardcore as I'm a begginer lol

What are you putting it in?

Novak and castle creations both make some nice ESC and motor combos that's the way I would go... my brother has the mamba max ESC with the 6900 motor in his RC10T4 and it will pull willies on demand, it is also programmable so you can tone it down.
