I'm changing ec5 plugs to xt90s to match my inputs on my boat.
I've run into a problem.
The batteries have 8 gauge wire. The wire diameter is to large. It won't fit into the xt90 external wire fitting. I end up with a sloppy mess.
Are there xt90 connectors designed 8 gauge wire?

They say they will accept up to 8AWG wire. I'll bet you got to have your A game on for that. Are you referring to the semicircular solder terminals cups that are giving you a problem?

Yes. After reading another reply, I realized I might have filled cup with too much dolder
