brushless in 1/18

Can I put a brushless motor into let's say the Associated Tamiko 1/18 Rally ?
if it's a stupid question please don't say so.
if yes, which one do you recommend ?
and would that improve a lot its speed ? and How fast would it go ?

I've never heard of Associated Tamiko but I do have a pair of Team Associated RC-18s that are running brushless. I run the Mamba Micro Pro (6800kV) in my RC-18r rallye car. As it is currently geared, I can easily hit 40 mph on a 2S lipo.

thats what i would do and i think that esc can do 3s-4s maybe a heli batt will fit

and do you mean a rc18r the name was prob the plastics ofered on it

The Castle ESCs are only rated for 2s to 3s LiPo packs. The ESCs are very durable and have had no real issues staying within the voltage guidlines on either NiMH or LiPo packs.
