I've located the heatsink for the Quark 125B Monster Pro ESC at rc-monster. Does anyone know where I can get the cooling fans that mount on it?

Next....I'm unable to find any listing for a water jacket cooling system that would fit the XLT-1 brushless. Is there a size I could go by such as a Feigao (sp) 540? I've had no luck at all with these 2 items.

These are the fans I run on mine

They are more expensive than the ebay specials but they have not failed on me. They also push a lot of air....I've tried several different 40mm fans and these have the highest output. 6.24 CFM EACH @ 5 volts. Just cut the yellow lead and crimp a servo plug to the red and black.

I'll be on the lookout for a water cooling jacket. What is the diameter of the XLT-1 can?

Which Novak ESC do you have? IIRC there are two sizes of the Novak fans, 25mm and 30mm.

Last night I ordered the heatsink and two of the cooling fans. I would never have found the site your linked to. Thanks for the help.
I THINK the motor is 50mm if I'm reading my worn out caliper correctly. If I can't find a jacket that fits it, I'll go with the coil and the finned heatsink I have now.
Last night at midnight, I also won bags and bags of aluminum parts for boats on Ebay. Turn fins, rudder, strut, trim tabs, etc. All K&B parts. Judging by the prices I've seen while shopping around, I think I really lucked out. I matched the starting bid of $19.95, 3 or 4 days ago, and there were no other bidders.

40x40x10 on the HV 4.5 setup.
It just doesn't show what voltage it runs connected to the ESC.
Guess ill have to drag out the meter and check it.

I dont like the purple Novak fan for this project.

Thanks for the info Ed. Those are the same height dimensions as the fan I linked to.

If the fan is a 12 volt unit, a replacement unit is easy to find. Rolex you can also go the 12 volt route and wire the fans directly to the power leads on your ESC. Depending on how many cells you run, you may have to wire in a resistor to step the voltage down. If you guys have the room for it, there are 20mm height fans available for even more output, at a cost of slightly higher amp draw.

I went with the 5 volt units because I wanted to be able to easily swap out the fan in the event of failure. The 12 volt units will have much more output than the 5 volt units.
