Brushed esc problem

I bought a replacement brushed esc for my buggy. I plugged the motor leads up to the esc like it says in the instructions but I have very slow speed going forward but it blew my tires off the rims in reverse and unfortunately I bought one tat isn't programmable so what can I do with this. Thanks

Can you reverse your throttle channel in the remote? If so do that and then recalibrate the esc

Thanks I'll try that first. I read somewhere about swapping the motor leads around also. Is that good on the motor

Yea for brushed you can do that to reverse the motor rotation. Won't damage anything.
