Breaking then dieing

Ok when i hit the breaks on the remote i see that it pulls the throttle back giving it less gas and then it also pushes a little arm forward to squeeze the disk...well looking down the air filter i see that when i do this it totaly closes the hole not giving it any air and it makes the engine die...how do i get it to whjere it breaks but does not "kill" the engine?

You need to adjust your idle setting on the carb so that you can see about a 1mm opening down the throat of the carb. When the throttle is at nuetral (the transmitter), the linkage should be pushing the throttle barrol against the idle screw. Then when you apply brakes, the throttle barrol won't move any further since the screw is keeping it in position.

You set this with the engine off. Then start it up and tweak the idle setting as needed to keep it running with the brakes on or the xmitter at nuetral.

There is an opening

There is already an opening...i need to know how to keep the opening OPEN at least 1mm so it does not cut off the engine when i break...thanx for replaying tho...how do i stop it from closing?

the opening should stay open at least 1 mm when you adjust the idle screw.

Set the throttle trim all the way down before you adjust the idle screw. Never set your idle with the trim. It's just for getting the idle higher while the engine warms up.
