I just Rebuilt my motor its a HpI .18 and i was wondering would breaking the engine in with 20% nitro make a difference then if i did it with 10%.All the hobby shops are sold out of 10% and i was wondering if i should wait it out or if i could break it in with 20%.

20% is just fine..Thats what I use..Then I switch to 30% after.

Why would you run 10% anyway? Not trying to be an ass, just curious as to why you would run such a low nitro content? I'd actually recommend breaking it in on whatever you plan to run or as Z said and break-in with 20% then switch to 30%.

I dont run on 10% i just always ahve broken in the engine on 10% and then switched to 20%.I have done that from my last 4 rebuilds. But i took Zs advice and i already broke it in with 20%.Well I'm on the second tank of break-in.
