i was wondering if it is ok to do the break in over a few days time , since the wethaer does not permit i could only do 1 and a half tanks today and the rest would be done on a different day when its nicer

yea, wont hurt it abit. Just dont let your mill sit with fuel in it for more then a couple days.....

alright thats a relief, really good to knowwell i did my after run and then it might be awhile

Shoot, I've got an engine that the break-in has taken over 2 years to complete. It's still goin strong. Just be extra careful when you start it up on the next outting. You don't want it to be too lean or too rich.

no mine wil take only a week so i should be good
, but damn its long to empty a tank at half throttle

Yeah, I know what you mean. Especially when it's something like a savage, which has a larger fuel tank by design. It takes literally forever to drain the tank at half throttle.

Just wait till it's broken in... My savage felt like it took forever to break in, but man does that F4.1 rip!

ya wel the savage is my friends and the revo is mine but I'm helping him out at the same time , but idling on a block for a whole tank , the idle was messed up it would rev for abit and then go all the way to wot. very weird , i had too adjust the idle right away and the low speed to adjust it properly, my revo is going nice to with the os 18tm can't wait till its done

Odd. My F4.1 ran the first tank dry from start to finish. It actually idled like an OS. Granted, it would rev slightly every now and again, but that was the motor loosening up.

ya i know we were freaking out when th eengine starting going wot , i had no choice but to tune right away,
