Break-in for hk baja?

Do I need to break it in like nitros?

You dont really have to, i took it easy on the first tank of my HPI, I leaned it out about 1/4 turn and let her rip!!! Always run a good synthetic oil, my first tank i ran a good plain 2 stroke 2nd tank on i used synthetic.

First full tank?! Holy... 40 mins taking it easy, did you past half throttle?

yes you can get past 1/2 throttle, some people dont break them in , they just come out of the box rippin it. Its all personal preference.

I just don't want to go out breaking things, that's all, do you have one? How did you break in yours?

I run techniplate synthetic at 25 to 1 ratio. For break in I just took it real easy on it. After about half way through the second tank, I started to open it up a bit. By the third tank the engine really responded well and runs great.
