I bought the remote and a Radiolink 2.4G R6FG 6 Channels RC Receiver with Gyro also bought Radiolink 2.4G R6F {{6 Channels RC Receiver Long Distance Control}}..
is that all I need to make remote work with my rc car? Am I going to need anything else? Attached photos so what I bought hoping that’s all I need to make work

really.? Ok the bec is battery eliminating circuit.. it takes the place of the 4 aa or 4 nihm packs we used to use to power all the electronics a rc needs... esc now a days have bec on them from 2 amps to 10 amps(not many) and 4.5 to 8.4 volts.. we also use a ubec to hook into splitter from battery power to rx to power thing fans servos esc so on...That's basic
rx- receiver needs power to connect with radio
servos needs power to move
fans need power to cool things off
esc needs power to get signal from rx(most have a bec in them)

So I have the traxxas Slash 4 x 4 VXL would that have that Built in already because I already have fans hooked up so I’m wondering if mine has that already

yes..but not much current.
BEC Voltage: 6.0 V
BEC Current: to me thats kinda low but many fell its ok 2.5A

So your saying I can buy that remote and it’ll work with what I have?

Yes. As long as you have both the transmitter and receiver, it will work for your setup.

As for the BEC, it's not needed to make the new remote work, since you already have everything to make it work.

I ended up getting another remote I am very hard at making decisions LOL but supposedly this one is better and comes with a receiver as well it has a screen on top of the remote you can look at the pictures I am attaching let me know what you guys think but very good reviews that I’ve read so hoping for the best worst case scenario I just return it if I don’t like it and once I make a mistake of buying something for sheep and it not working out I go big or go home so if this one don’t work right I have in my cart ready to purchase a remote for $700 the best one I was able to find so don’t let my wife now but hopefully this one doesn’t work that good so I can get that $700 one LOL attached are the photos of the one I now have on the way ordered

Hey so I got the Remote in the Receiver with it on Traxxas it says that the servo should be plugged in to channel 1 and etc. but on my new remote it has a button on it for channel 3 trim I could adjust the wheel trim I’m assuming so wouldn’t I plug the servo into channel 3? And how do I find out if it matters on this receiver what channel you plug what into I’ll attach some photos thanks in advance

Here are the photos also the owners manual is poop it don’t give absolutely any instructions all it says is move the transmitter power switch to Issam position connect the power supply to the receiver receiver Sellitti should be solid to indicate that is connected also the transmitter and receiver have been pre-bound before delivery

Most (if not all) transmitters have channel 1 as steering and channel 2 as the throttle. If you plug it into channel 3, yes, it would be easy to set the trims, but you can't steer it with the steering wheel. Also, I'm pretty sure you can set trims for all the channels with the LCD screen.

Ugh.
trim is set on 45 degree side of radio he button near to th and st. not thru lcd screen. now endpoints is set thru screen.. channel 3 is not for steering .its a extra channel to add something fan lights.so on. you will need to install servo on channel 1 .esc on channel 2 (calibrate esc to new radio).

1 to turn, 2 to burn
