It shouldn't take that long for the water.
Just start off with the recommended shock and add a container of PH Buffer and you will be up and going in no time. I just filled mine up last week and was going in 48 hours.
I should also mention that the oil slick keeps my skin soft and supple.
I have a 55 gallon drum with an old Johnson 40 outboard motor clamped to the rim. As long as I stay clear of the prop, it sure is soothing.
Look to see if the kit has a PH Buffer in it.
You just dump it in when you fill the tub and never worry about the PH again.
