Bose Music Dock for iPOD....

I just got home from Best Buy.... Dangerous place to be.... LOL I bought the iPod doc from Bose and man let me tell you I just hooked it up and WOW! this thing sounds great. You close your eyes and you don't know you are listening to a little speaker box. It sounds like a full stereo system. I still don't know if it was worth $300 but not bad... not bad at all. I just had to tell you guys, man this thing is exciting!

how's the bass response on that thing? will it play the real low stuff ok?

It hits the low stuff ok. I mean you are not going to rock the neighbors but it sounds great. You have to play with your EQ on the ipod to get the sound just right. For a small box it hits pretty good. It should do well for filling the room with good tunes for the wedding. I didn't think my Fiance' would go for me buying this but when I brought it up to her she agreed it was a good idea. We even figured it into the budget! I love this marriage stuff! I am working on finishing the basement and so I get to go to Lowes and buy power tools! Gotta love it. I wonder how I can convince her we need a corvette? LOL

Hell in that case... I think the new 911 will get her there faster! LOL Actually the Vette is in the long term plans already. Thankfully she wants one too. So I guess once the kids are done with College. Hopefully I make it that long! I love the boy, but man he is causing more gray hairs....

Yea, I got the Bose Sounddock for x-mas and its sweet. I think it was definatly worth the 300. Bose doesn't over do it by adding so much bass like other brands do that rattle the whole house. I also have the Bose Lifestyle 38 home entertainment system which is just unbelievable.

My system consists of a 10 year old Aiwa. Need to take it apart. CD player skips pretty bad sometimes and one cassette door won't latch. Most of the time I just play something on the computer anymore....

Did ya about get the workshop finished before you hurt your leg? Worked on it anymore?
I've been looking at mine and trying to organize a bit...

And how is the leg? Pampering is almost over?
She is probably ready to tell you to get up and get your own damn beer.

Aint that the truth! We have been dating for 3 years and I think I found that out right after the 6 month mark! Maybe I should have run at that point?onder2: It's all good, I am ready for the :whip:

Unfortunately I didn't get started on the workshop before I broke my leg so that is the next thing on the agenda. I can't wait to have my own space!

The leg is doing great actually. I just got off the crutches yesterday and should be back to work on the 20th. I still have to wear this metal brace for another month, but hell at least I am walking... albeit very slowly and with a slight limp. Pampering is at an end..... the :whip: has begun....
