Bone Head Mistake!

Well I just made a bone head mistake that cost me $22.50!

For Christmas my stepson wants the Sopranos complete series boxed set. Best Buy has it for $259.99 but me being a cheapskate I decided to look around for a better deal.
Well after a bit looking I find it for $225 with free shipping from reputable seller on eBay. Well that's a $34.99 + around $20 in taxes savings. So I bought it and paid by PayPal.
I figure that's good deal but then since I haven't been to eBay for a while I decided to go to "My Ebay". Wish I hadn't because when I do there's message in my inbox, a holiday 10% off any item using PayPal! Dammit! I could have saved another $22.50

I still think I got a good deal but ......... Just wanted to rant for a minute.

I tried using that on a purchase and it didn't work. Just screwed up my payment of multiple items and half of the transaction went through. I was buying 4 things from one guy and paying for them all via ebay all at once. It automatically applied the coupon to the most expensive thing, but then screwed up that transaction. The other 3 items went through fine. Then I had to attempt to reapply the coupon to the remaining item and it said the coupon was invalid... so, I didn't get to use the coupon and I didn't get the shipping discount from the seller on 4 items. I got the shipping discount on 3 (full shipping on first, half shipping on remaining items), then paid full shipping for the 4th, since it was processed as a completely separate transaction.

When trying to save myself $8, it cost me $4 extra and I wasn't able to save the $8. So, it put me $12 in the hole... THANK YOU EBAY! @#$@#$!!!$!@

I just used that coupon on a new bird dog satellite meter, I saved 35 bucks and had no problems! lol
