I'm converting my MBX-5 buggy into a truggy and was just wondering which body shell I would need for it. I ordered a genesis truck body by mistake and it was huge! It completely covered the buggy including the wheels and spoiler! That truck must be huge!! Any advice whether I should use a t-maxx/savage shell or do I need a stadium truck shell? I will be using a #JT0001. JT Racing Mugen MBX-5 "Truggy" Conversion kit.

I'd see about asking JT Racing, but all the truggies I'v seen look like they have a stadiun truck body. Of coarse, that S-Maxx is a stadium truck looking body by the way those little humps on each side of the back are there. Maybe that is what they use?

i have the mbx4 truggy and at first i tried a rc10gt body....its ok but a little short.....
if you run the wing check into the losi xxx-t...electric body...the crowd pleaser fits good....the farther forward shock tower leaves more room in the back for the rear body mounts

if your not using the wing the e-maxx crowd pleaser works well....here are some pics.....

the red body is an emaxx body
multi color is rc10gt

i do know the losi xxx-nt is not a good fit either....i have tried it....but like you i'm still looking.....think i'm gonna go with the emaxx crowd pleaser...and cut the back slits to accept the wing....

wolverine i did some research and so far the best truggy body for the mbx/jt is the t-maxx crowd pleaser....i am ordering me one today....i saw one in person and it fits well....very well.....just some slight trimming across the back.....the larger flat area behind the cab part gives plenty of body post area....hope this helps
