I replaced the gears in my front axel, now the body will roll to the left when moving forward but level out in reverse. Where did I go wrong. This is an scx24 power wagon. None of the suspension is stock but I wasn't having this issue until replacing the worm&pinion.

I have a couple that non-stock hubs or extensions contact the bearings first... so it's possible.
Extensions should never contact the bearing before putting pressure on the cross pin. That's just using wrong parts which is the issue not overtightened axle nut

I hope this helps. I have 5mm brass offsets behind the wheels and I think 46mm shocks. The roll has always been there to some extent but never like this. The front left just drops as soon as I move forward, reverse relieves the tension. If I pick it up and hit the throttle there is no change.

You have tension on that axle, it's acting like a spring. I think dustyroller is on to something there.

If it's binding up going forward then releasing when you reverse, something is locking up.

You'll have to work backwards until you find it (remove wheels, remove axle housing, etc)

It does on the small scale, you can not crank down on them like 1/10. The other thing could be when you installed the gears did you shim the top so there is little play. Or do your gears turn freely with no load. Your worm screw could be the culprit.
